‘Whitfield School has had a very positive experience working with Limitless Planet on planning our very first educational trip to Poland. From the very beginning, Shannon Lichti and Kathryn Palacios have been immensely helpful in crafting an engaging itinerary that took into consideration the educational needs of our students. Our week-long trip to Poland centered on exploring Jewish heritage and Polish culture. Most of the students were high school seniors enrolled in a human rights and genocide prevention course. Shannon and Kathryn made sure that our destinations in Poland overlapped with some of the places that the students had been learning about in class. We thus spent most of our trip in Warsaw and Krakow. Indeed, our itinerary included stops at multiple museums and cultural institutions that focused on the history of Polish Jews and the experiences of Poles and Jews living under Nazi occupation. Shannon and Kathryn also ensured that we were equipped with professional tour guides and drivers who provided us with a historical overview of all of our destinations. Some highlights on our trip included the Wilanow Palace in Warsaw, the Salt Mines of Wieliczka, and the Wawel Castle in Krakow. The students also had the opportunity to explore the Jewish district in Kazimierz as well as the infamous Nazi concentration camp, Auschwitz-Birkenau. At the end, students were so impressed with their experiences that they genuinely felt sad upon leaving Poland. Of course, much of this may be credited to Limitless Planet and, in particular, Shannon and Kathryn's insightful and expert contributions to making our journey into a great success! Indeed, we are all very grateful for partnering with Limitless Planet and we plan on collaborating again on future international trips. We recommend Limitless Planet most highly!’
