What is the difference between a group adventure and a bespoke trip? Our group adventures are pre-planned itineraries with set dates, destinations, and themes. From Food & Wine to Outdoor Adventures to Travel for a Cause. They're a great way to explore the world alongside like-minded travelers in a small, curated group. Bespoke trips, on the other hand, are designed entirely around you: your destinations, your pace, your interests, and your travel style. Both options include our signature level of care and curation.
Who is a group adventure right for? Group adventures are ideal for solo travelers, couples, or individuals who want a fully organized experience with the energy of a small group. Our tours are limited to up to 15 travelers (with an average of 10), so the experience remains personal and immersive.
Who is a bespoke trip right for? Bespoke travel is perfect for individuals, couples, families, or groups who want complete control over their itinerary. Whether you want a multi-country journey, a private family safari, or a honeymoon designed down to the last detail, we'll build it from scratch around your vision.
How far in advance should I start planning a bespoke trip? We recommend starting the planning process 4–12 months in advance, especially for more complex or seasonal itineraries. That said, we can often accommodate shorter timelines depending on availability.
Are bespoke trips only for luxury travelers? Not at all. While many of our bespoke trips include premium accommodations and high-touch service, we design journeys for a variety of budgets and styles. What matters most is crafting a trip that reflects you.
Can a bespoke itinerary include multiple countries or continents? Absolutely. We frequently design multi-country and cross-continent trips, seamlessly blending experiences across borders. Whether you're planning a European honeymoon or an adventure spanning Asia and Africa, we'll bring your vision to life.
-
What documents do I need to travel? A valid passport is required for all international travel. Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your return date.
Do I need a visa? Visa requirements vary by nationality and destination. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary visas and covering associated fees. We provide helpful links on your trip portal to guide you, and we're happy to assist you in the visa process. Click here to see if you need a visa.
Are there new travel requirements for Europe? Beginning in late 2026, travelers from visa-exempt countries (including the U.S., Canada, and Australia) will need an ETIAS permit to visit most of Europe (including the UK). We'll provide details on how to apply as the launch date approaches.
-
What vaccinations or health precautions are recommended? Consult your family physician or a travel health clinic for the most accurate and up-to-date advice. Your trip portal offers links to reputable travel health sites, but these do not replace professional medical advice.
Is travel insurance required? It is not required, but highly recommended. We recommend purchasing insurance as soon as you book. Please note, we require travel insurance for certain destinations, particularly for adventure-based departures.
What should I do in an emergency while traveling? In the event of an emergency, please contact your nearest US Embassy immediately and notify your Limitless Planet trip curator so we can help right away.
