Limitless Planet Travel & Events is a boutique travel and event planning agency in located St. Louis, MO. We are a company without borders, we produce events and VIP trips worldwide. From Moscow to Johannesburg, New York to Shanghai, we can create the experience of a lifetime. If you can dream it, we can make it happen. We began official operations in January 2011, but the Limitless Planet concept was created in a tent while on safari in Masai Mara, Kenya by founder, Shannon Lichti, in 2004. Since, it has been a long road that has taken us from coast to coast in America, and to all seven continents. We have created relationships that will benefit our clients for a longtime to come.
At Limitless Planet it is our objective to plan a once in a lifetime experience. We want each detail to create a trip or event that far exceeds expectations, while providing a carefree experience in the far corners of the world.
FOUNDER & PRESIDENT
Shannon is a Political Science graduate from the University of Kansas. She has a thriving desire to explore history, culture, and politics. She fulfilled this desire as an International Travel Director. Shannon has lead private, luxury, educational and adventure travel throughout the world. Her biggest achievement was seeing all seven continents before her 30th birthday. In her free time, she prefers to be scuba diving, backcountry backpacking, canoeing, yoga, and (of course) traveling. The Fotographie Museum in Berlin is her favorite place to spend an afternoon. She serves as the President and Director of Travel at Limitless Planet. Her favorite vacation spots are Nepal and East Africa (specifically Kenya and Tanzania).
Shannon also has world wide event planning experience. She has planned everything from Executive Private Yacht parties to political speaking engagements. Shannon has experience producing and casting for New York Fashion Week, as well as planning Bar Mitzvahs in Israel, and has spearheaded product launches all over the world.
Kathryn’s skills lie in her ability to motivate, and inspire people to do their best while keeping a positive attitude. She received a Communications and Broadcasting degree from Fontbonne University. She has enjoyed a blend of experiences in Customer Services, Logistics, and Event Planning. She thrives on creating the ultimate client experience, fostering team work, and building key relationships. Her clients have expressed their appreciation for her skills at learning new concepts quickly, working well under pressure, and communicating ideas clearly and effectively.
Kathryn is especially proud that her volunteer work for St. Louis Fashion week has evolved to Assistant Director and her involvement in other runway shows. She also like to give back her time to Special Olympics, and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Her favorite places to travel (so far) are Havana and Tokyo.
She has discovered that her hometown of St. Louis, Missouri can also fuel her desire for enriching her love of history. Kathryn can be found planning historical St. Louis walking tours, listening to Blues music on Broadway, and enjoying Broadway shows at the Fabulous Fox Theater to name just a few of the experiences St. Louis has to offer.
Mackenzie is an English major from Webster University who recently came back to St. Louis after teaching English in France for a year. Now, she is taking her international, communication, and marketing skills to promote and educate a variety of travel opportunities. One of her biggest goals in life is to help others get to countries they’ve never been before and out of their comfort zones.
At a young age, Mackenzie caught the travel bug when she went to Mexico and promptly started renting every single travel guide she could get her hands on at the local library. From there, she has lived abroad twice—both in the UK and France—and traveled extensively. Her favorite city in the world (as of 2018) is London, where she lived in 2013 and also has traveled back to over 10 times.
Mackenzie has a range of event planning and promotional experience. From working as the Social Media and Marketing Manager for Saint Louis Fashion Week to interning at London Fashion Week to executing events nationwide for a local menswear company.
Now back living Stateside, Mackenzie is rediscovering her hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. She can often be found at any local music venue from The Pageant to The Ready Room and is steadily making her way through trying all the tacos in the city.
