As our Travel Planner, you will design exceptional journeys for our clients, focusing on delivering value and memorable experiences. Creativity will be your primary tool as you work to fulfill travel aspirations, enhance client repeat-booking rates, maintain high satisfaction scores, and operate efficiently within budget constraints. These performance metrics will be key to your success and align with our organizational objectives.

Your primary objective is to ensure each trip surpasses client expectations by making travel efficient, engaging, and tailored to individual preferences. Whether coordinating boutique accommodations or managing complex itineraries, your organizational skills ensure seamless experiences.

You’re the go-to guru for epic destinations and secret spots. You handle travel curveballs and questions with style, wit, and a can-do attitude—always ready to guide travelers on their next great adventure.

You consistently provide outstanding customer service with meticulous attention to detail, demonstrating the adaptability required to support our dynamic clients.

Responsibilities

• Client Discovery

• Discuss with clients their travel plans and preferences.

• Answer all client queries and questions in a professional manner.

• Itinerary Design

• Prepare travel packages that meet clients' needs and expectations.

• Suggest travel destinations and popular spots.

• Prepare travel budgets based on client specifications.

• Booking and Coordination

• Make bookings and reservations for hotels, flights, and related activities.

• Vendor Relations

• Research detailed information about hotels, restaurants, cafes, and others- Negotiate for the best prices with tour guides, restaurants, and rental companies

• Maintain healthy relationships with vendors and clients.

• Stay Updated- Stay informed about the latest travel trends.

Requirements

• At least 5 years' experience as a Travel Planner, Travel Agent, or in a similar role in the travel industry or equivalent related fields.

• Demonstrated ability to design and manage travel experiences from start to finish.

• Thorough knowledge of domestic and international destinations and travel trends.

• Strong experience and knowledge of international and domestic travel trends.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and customer service skills.

• Exceptional customer service skills.

• Advanced negotiation and sales abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and general computer skills

• Strong problem-solving mindset and customer focus.

• Comfortable with numbers and budgeting.

• Ability to work independently with keen attention to detail and time management.

• Good time management skills.

Candidates must live in St. Louis. Please note, we operate with a hybrid work environment, where employees are expected to work on-site two to three days a week and have the flexibility to work remotely for the other days.
