Amalfi Coast Food + Wine
SEPTEMBER 21–28, 2027
Price: $7,790 (Double Occupancy)
Join Limitless Planet and food and travel host Robert "Bob" Colosimo for eight days along one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world, where the food is as extraordinary as the scenery and every day brings something worth sitting down for.
The Amalfi Coast has been drawing visitors for centuries, and for good reason. The cliffside villages, the lemon groves tumbling toward the sea, the fishing boats coming in at dawn with the catch that ends up on your plate at lunch — this is southern Italy at its most cinematic and its most genuinely delicious.
Based in Sorrento with day trips along the coast, the itinerary moves through Amalfi, Ravello, Capri, Pompeii, and the volcanic vineyards below Vesuvius, with a private yacht charter and a hands-on cooking class woven into a week that never feels rushed. Bob has spent decades cooking at the highest level and traveling the world, and his presence on the ground changes what you experience at every stop along the way.
This is the Amalfi Coast done properly. Eight days, small group, and a Travel Director on the ground the entire time.
What You’ll Love About This Trip
Lemon Groves, Limoncello, and Amalfi Town
A guided walk through the fragrant lemon groves above the sea, followed by a hands-on limoncello tasting and a three-course lunch at a traditional trattoria using the freshest ingredients the coast produces.
A Private Yacht Charter Along the Coast
A full day on the Mediterranean aboard a private yacht, cruising past fishing villages and hidden coves, swimming off the deck, and visiting the Grotta dello Smeraldo where the water glows an extraordinary shade of emerald.
Hands-On Cooking Class in Sorrento
A morning in the kitchen with a local chef, learning the traditional dishes of the Amalfi Coast from scratch before sitting down to eat what the group made together. The kind of class that produces a skill worth taking home.
A Day on Capri
The glamorous island off the coast, dramatic cliffs, chic boutiques, and the famous Blue Grotto are explored at a pace that allows for a long lunch and genuine time to wander rather than rushing through on a day-tripper's schedule.
Wine Tasting in Ravello and the Tramonti Valley
A day in the hilltop town of Ravello, one of the most beautiful on the coast, followed by a visit to a family-run winery in the verdant Tramonti valley, where local varietals are poured alongside a rustic lunch at the estate.
Pompeii with an Expert Archaeologist
A guided walk through the ancient city with someone who knows it properly, followed by a wine tasting on the volcanic slopes below Vesuvius, where the geology that buried Pompeii also produces some of the most distinctive wines in southern Italy.
